I am a Graduate Assistant and Graduate Student at Texas State University experienced in video and audio editing. I am looking to elevate my skills by focusing on digital media in graduate school and am advancing my leadership skills by assisting students in their undergraduate studies.

Graduate Assistant

Prior to the recent pandemic, I was the executive producer for the university's newscast Bobcat Update. My responsibilities also included teaching students how to create a news wrap using Adobe Audition and creating quizzes for students on current news events. Come June of 2019, I will EP a student produced newscast and assist students in visual storytelling.

Assisted in the promotions department by creating content to increase web and social media traffic. Lastly, I worked to live stream musician performances at different venues in the Austin area. In the production department, I created commercials for clients using Adobe Audtion and scheduled them to air by clients' requested dates.

Apart from being a graduate student, I enjoy venturing out to local venues and restaurants. When traveling, I like trying the food locals boast about. My travels are often between Washington D.C. and California.

Most of my free time is spent watching stand up on Netflix and going to comedy shows. I find relief in comedy and I find that laughter is truly the best medicine.
